Sludge/Drone Doom
This is the band called Philistine from America. Well what should I say about the album. It released in april 2004 and contains 8 songs of good Sludge/Drone Doom. The first song of this is called The Radiance Of A Thousand Suns, this song contains very good guitar riffs, good drums and very strong and powerful vocals. This song is a mid-tempo song, I really like this song. The second song, called Smell The Blood, starts with some slow guitar riffs, slow drums. This part is very good Drone this song is a slow/mid-tempo song you hear some growls and again the great powerful vocals. In this song you hear some great guitar and drums. I like this song very much. The 3rd song, called Voluntary Extinction, the song starts with some great guitar riffs, drum parts. And in this song you hear the powerful vocals again but also some clean vocals and whispering as well. This song is very slow I really like this song. The 4th song called, Crushed Under The Temple's Collapse, starts with some noise at the back but after that the great guitar riffs, drums begin. In this song you hear growls. This song is maybe the slowest song of all. And I really enjoy this song. The 5th song called, So He May Die, Starts with some drums and some guitar riffs. In this song you hear the powerful vocals again. I really like this song this is some great Drone/Sludge work. I think that the 4th song called, Crushed Under The Temple's Collapse, is the only song that is only song where you can not here the powerful vocals but only growls. So He May Die is a great song. The 6th song called, Infestation, is an instrumental song its a kind of intro very haunting, i like this. The 7th song called, Jain, starts with some noises and after you hear some great guitar riffs, drums. In this song you hear the great powerful vocals and growls. I really enjoy this song. The 8th song (and also the last song of this cd. Is called Womb Locust, In this you hear again some great guitar riffs, great drums, and the vocals are great. This cd is really a great for everyone who loves Sludge and Drone Doom must buy this cd. Philistine is in the vien of bands like Moss, Khanate, Halo, Bunkur and also a bit like Zaraza. I really like this cd and I am already lookin forward to their next album. Great Job!
